Dr. Nasrallah is the editor-in-chief of Schizophrenia Research and Current Psychiatry. He was awarded the highest research honor at The Ohio State University in 1990 and was recognized by the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Ohio with the Exemplary Psychiatrist Award in 1996 and 1997.  He was honored with the President’s Award from the Ohio Psychiatric Physicians Association in 2007 and the Distinguished Service Award from the Cincinnati Psychiatric Society in 2008.  Dr. Nasrallah received the Golden Apple Teaching Excellence Award from the University of Cincinnati Department of Psychiatry Residents in 2009.  
He is nationally known for his expertise in neurobiology and the psychopharmacology of schizophrenia, and he received his neuroscience training at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
