Dr. Fenton joined the faculty of Saint Louis University’s School of Medicine in 1991 as an instructor in the Department of Neurology.
A 1985 graduate of Saint Louis University School of Medicine, Dr. Fenton finished two years of training in pediatrics at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital before beginning his residency in child neurology. After completing a one-year fellowship in neurophysiology at Saint Louis University Hospital, he joined the Department of Neurology as a faculty member in 1991. He also holds a secondary appointment in the Department of Pediatrics.
Dr. Fenton’s chief interests are sleep disorders, neurophysiology and medical education. Currently, he serves as medical director of the neurophysiology laboratory at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. In 1996, Dr. Fenton was appointed director of the clinical neurosciences course for third and fourth year medical students and is co-director for the second year neurosciences module. He is actively involved in test development with the American Academy of Neurology and National Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Fenton sees patients at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital.
