Lauren Schwarz, Ph.D..,ABPP-CN is a Board Certified Clinical Neuropsychologist who recently joined the faculty at Saint Louis University as an Assistant Professor of Neurology and is the Director of the Neuropsychology Division.  She currently sees patients through the Clinic in Monteleone Hall.  To contact Dr. Schwarz please call: 314-977-4861 or email: lschwa15@slu.edu.


Dr. Schwarz earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Saint Louis University.  She completed her internship training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Dr. Schwarz’s clinical interests are in the provision of neuropsychological services to adults with a diverse range of presenting concerns including cognitive sequelae of neurologic conditions (such as, stroke, epilepsy, brain tumor, Parkinson’s disease, MS, etc.), suspected memory problems or dementia, traumatic brain injury, medical conditions affecting central nervous system functioning (e.g., liver disease, Lupus, HIV infection, or cardiac conditions), psychiatric conditions, attentional disorders, and learning disorders.

Dr. Schwarz’s research interests have included cognitive functioning in North American adults with Moyamoya Disease, visual memory and executive functioning in traumatic brain injury, and the assessment of feigned and/or exaggerated neurocognitive dysfunction.
