Dr. Piriyawat received his medical degree in 1992. His neurology residency was completed at Saint Louis University in 2000. Subsequently, he pursued a stroke fellowship at the University of Texas at Houston. He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology for Neurology and Vascular Neurology (Stroke). His works focus on treatment of acute ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke.
