Saint Louis University Sleep Center

Sleep Disorders Center

The Sleep Center at Saint Louis University offers a multidisciplinary approach to a variety of sleep disorders in both adults and children. Specialists from the fields of neurology, psychiatry, pulmonary, internal medicine, pediatrics, and otolaryngology have collaborated to create a one-of-a-kind Sleep Center to help evaluate and treat patients who suffer from sleep disorders and advance the field of sleep medicine by promoting education and research in this discipline. The effective treatment of sleep disorders requires skill and knowledge that come from specialized training in this evolving field of medicine. At Saint Louis University, our center is lead by physicians that are fellowship-trained and board-certified in sleep medicine. In addition to providing clinical care, the Sleep Center serves as a training site for other physicians and medical students to learn about this very important specialty. The Sleep Center is involved with several research trials. Saint Louis University and Cardinal Glennon Hospital are proud to be a site for the Childhood Adenotonsillectomy Study (CHAT), which will be the first randomized, controlled study of behavioral, neurocognitive, and physiologic changes in children who undergo adenotonsillectomy for mild-moderate sleep apnea.
